This Christmas why not try making some delicious cocktails with Cotswold Gin and Vodka.

 

 

Bramble Gin

 

Ingredients:

Cotswold Gin

Lemon Juice

Sugar Syrup

Creme de Mure

 

Method:

Shake together 60ml of Cotswold Gin, 30ml Lemon juice and 15ml of sugar syrup with ice.

 

Serve into a tall glass filled with ice. Add crushed ice and then drizzle over some ceme de mure. Add a blackberry to finish.

Vodka and Cranberry Crush

 

Ingredients:

Cotswold Vodka

Cointreau

Orange Juice

Cranberry Juice

Lime Peel

 

Method:

Pour 200ml of Cotswold Vodka and 200ml of Cointreau into a jug, then add 400ml of Orange juice and 600ml of Cranberry juice. Stir well.

 

Fill glass with crushed ice, then pour over cocktail. To finish add a strip of lime peel.

Christmas Pudding Vodka

 

Ingredients:

Cotswold Vodka

Blade Mace

Ground Mixed Spice

Cinnamon Sticks

Lemon

Orange

Currants

Mixes peel

Light Muscovado Sugar

 

Method:

Warm one piece of blade mace, two sticks of cinnamon, two teaspoons of ground mixed spice in a dry pan over a low heat for 10 minuets.

 

Grate one lemon and one orange rind into a blow, then squeeze two tablespoons of each juice.

 

Combine the warmed spices with 300g of currants, 200g of chopped mixed peel, 450g of light muscovado sugar and 1 litre of Cotswold Vodka. Mix well, cover and leave to chill for 3 to 4 days, stirring occasionally.

 

Strain the vodka into a bottle. This can then be kept for up to one year. Serve from chilled or room temperature.
